"Smarter Business Case" Offer From Palm Targets the Needs of Handheld Users in Hong Kong



HONG KONG, July 2, 2002 -- Palm, Inc. (Nasdaq: PALM) today announced a new promotional offering -- the Palm™ m515 Smarter Business Case, targeted at mobile professionals. Under the Palm™ m515 Smarter Business Case offer, customers who purchase a Palm™ m515 colour handheld (estimated retail price of HK$3,120) will receive a HK$400 rebate*, plus a gift pack* worths over HK$1,600. The gift pack includes a CD-ROM containing Chinese overlay and handwriting input system, infotainment browser and stock-trading software, together with four free issues of Fortune magazine, free Palm handheld training and golf training courses.

Customers of the Palm™ m130 can also benefit from a similar value-added offering. When they purchase their Palm™ m130, which has an estimated retail price of HK$2,180, they will receive a HK$600 rebate*.
