Palm™ Launches Wireless Keyboard,
Multifunction Stylus and Six Cases

HONG KONG, Oct. 9, 2003 -- Palm, Inc. (Nasdaq: PALM) today
announced a dazzling array of fall accessories perfect for
gift-giving. Available from Oct. 1 (unless otherwise noted)
in consumer-electronics outlets, major retail chains and
online e-stores in most countries worldwide, the new line
of accessories includes an innovative wireless infrared
(IR) keyboard; a multifunction stylus; six stylish handheld
cases; a plug-and-play, 1.3 megapixel camera card; handheld
protection products; and complete accessory kits.

First Palm Branded Wireless Keyboard Eases Text Entry
With this foldable, practical keyboard, Palm handheld users
can type effortlessly, connected to a Palm branded handheld
wirelessly via IR. This battery-operated keyboard, featuring
standard, full-sized keys, works with all current Palm handhelds.

Executive Multifunction Stylus: The Perfect Executive Gift
Performing four functions in one -- a smooth-writing pen,
a laser pointer, a flashlight and, of course, a stylus --

Zire Hard Case -- With a stylish metal-like contemporary

1.3 Megapixel Camera Card Takes Pictures and Stores Photos
Slide the new camera card into a Palm handheld's expansion
slot and start taking beautiful 24-bit color photos at up
to 1280 x 1024 resolution. Users can save them as standard
JPEG images, which can be easily shared with family and
friends. Other features include adjustable focus for close-up
shots or landscapes, digital zoom for photos, a swivel lens
for self-portraits or forward-facing photos, and a video
capture function. Compatible with all current color Palm
handhelds with Palm Photos or PhotoBase software (Tungsten
C, Tungsten T and Tungsten T2 handhelds) this new camera
card is scheduled to be available end of October onward.
