Stay in sync.
-
Synchronise with Outlook®3 When you're away from your desk—whether you're in a conference room, at a colleague's desk, or even outside the office, you can still stay in touch. Microsoft® Exchange ActiveSync® with Direct Push Technology2 lets you wirelessly synchronise your smartphone with your company's Microsoft® Exchange Server to send and receive email, update your calendar, contacts, and tasks, and respond to meeting invitations.
- Synchronise your Inbox, including attachments. Messages you've sent on your smartphone are sent using the Exchange server, and copies of these messages are added to the Sent Items folder on the server. Messages you've deleted are moved to the Deleted Items on the server—so the Inbox on your desktop computer stays as up to date as the one on your smartphone.
- Accept, tentatively accept, or decline meeting invitations, with or without comments. Meetings you've accepted on your smartphone are automatically added to your calendar and updated in Microsoft® Outlook® on your desktop.
- Send and receive email quickly. Replies and forwarded email messages are optimised for quick distribution over the network. Direct Push Technology2 means that you get access to your key information as it becomes available, keeping you up to date with your email, calendar, contacts, and tasks.
- Automatically adjust to time zones. All calendar events time-shift based on the time zone you set for your smartphone.
- Synchronise your contact list. Any updates you make on your smartphone will be synchronised with the server and reflected on your PC when you're back at your desk.
- Synchronise your tasks. Any updates or changes you make to tasks are synchronised with the server so both your device and your PC are up to date.
- Access your company's Global Address List. Quickly and easily find contact information for a colleague by accessing your organisation's Global Address List over the air.2
-
Sync at your convenience. Choose from automatic wireless updates, an automated synchronisation schedule that fits your schedule, or manual synchronisation – so you get what you want, when you want it.
-
Keep your information secure.3 Enhanced security features include lost device deactivation, remote data wipe, and device password enforcement. Plus, everything is synchronised via SSL, so important information and email messages are safe and secure. Your company may have additional security measures such as a VPN. Check with your company's system administrator for details.
