Step by Step Technical Repair Guide
Step 1.
Within 30 days of purchase?
If there is a manufacturing defect, return the Palm smartphone or handheld with proof of purchase and original retail packaging to your retailer within 30 days and they will replace the faulty device with a brand new Palm device.
Note: Cracked or scratched screens are not generally covered under warranty unless identified at time of purchase.
After 30 days of purchase?
Incorrect configuration or software issues may cause your Palm smartphone or handheld to appear to be broken. Save yourself time and money by diagnosing these types of issues before you start a repair. Troubleshoot before you start a repair, and contact us via Live Chat or Phone.

We suggest that you have the following close at hand when you call to speed up the process:
- your Palm device serial number and proof of purchase;
- your computer if possible; and
- any error messages written down.
From the date of your first call, free phone technical support is available for the next 90 days. Ongoing support past 90 days is provided free via email or on a paid-for basis.
Step 2
If the Customer Support agent concludes that the device is faulty, you will be issued with a Service Repair Order (SRO) number and be asked to send your Palm device to our drop zone.
Before mailing, please ensure you follow clearly label the device and packaging, include your SRO number and:
- Backup all data from the device
- Hard reset device
- Remove any accessories and add-ons, like expansion cards, stylus, cases, manuals, cradles, 3rd party products, flip covers, face plates etc. Any items sent other than the Palm device will not be returned.
- Place the device inside the box with your name, address and SRO #.
- Send the device to the address provided by Palm Customer Support agent with the SRO number clearly indicated in the address area.
Note: Devices sent without an SRO number on the packaging and device risk major delays or even loss.
