palmOne™ Appoints Paul Blinkhorn, Vice President for Asia Pacific
Sydney, Jan 19, 2004 - palmOne, Inc. (Nasdaq: PLMO) today announced that Paul Blinkhorn has joined palmOne, Inc. as its vice president for Asia Pacific. An IT industry veteran with more than 25 years of experience, Blinkhorn will be responsible for the business operations of palmOne in Asia Pacific, including sales, marketing, and overall business strategy for palmOne and its product lines across Asia Pacific, including Japan.

Prior to joining palmOne, Blinkhorn spent 14 years with Compaq/HP in various management roles. For the last seven years he was based in Singapore with regional responsibilities, including a term as managing director for Compaq ASEAN immediately after the integration with Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC).
Immediately prior to Compaq's merger with HP, Blinkhorn was vice president of the Access Business Group, which included all business and consumer PCs and portable products, including handheld devices. In his most recent position, Blinkhorn was vice president, Hewlett Packard Asia Pacific, responsible for the Industry Standard Server Division. Before relocating to Asia in 1996, Blinkhorn was general manager for Compaq New Zealand, having joined Compaq as sales director for Australia. Prior to Compaq, Blinkhorn held senior management positions at Olivetti Australia.
