What's synchronized, and where does it go?
Whatever you do on your device, it will sync with the web account you chose.
For example, Google has Calendar, email, and Contacts. But it doesn't have a Notes feature that your device supports. This info is backed up to your Palm profile.
Here's how each account type is backed up:
Google
- Email on your device syncs with Gmail
- Contacts on your device sync with Google Contacts.
- Calendar events on your device sync with Google Calendar
- Tasks are backed up to your Palm profile¹
- Notes are backed up to your Palm profile¹
Yahoo!
- Email on your device syncs with Yahoo!
- Contacts from Yahoo! appear on your device. Note: One-way sync. Contacts from Yahoo! appear on your device, but you can't make changes on your device.
- Calendar events on your device sync with Yahoo!
- Tasks are backed up to your Palm profile¹
- Notes are backed up to your Palm profile¹
Microsoft Exchange
- Email on your device syncs with Microsoft Exchange
- Contacts on your device sync with Microsoft Exchange
- Calendar events on your device sync with Microsoft Exchange
- Tasks on your device sync with Microsoft Exchange
- Notes on your device are backed up to your Palm profile¹
Facebook
Synchronization for Calendar/Contacts in one direction only. Calendar & Contacts from Facebook appear on your device, but you can't change them on your device. Changes made on Facebook automatically transfer to your device every 24 hours, or after you manually sync. Facebook contact info comes from the profiles of your Facebook friends. Facebook does not allow you to change another user's profile. If you need to make changes on your device, it creates a new contact that includes the changes.

LinkedIn
Synchronization for Contacts in one direction only. Contacts from LinkedIn appear on your device, but you can't change them on your device.
